God's Precious Gift

It’s nearly a year ago that I became a mother. By the end of the year I will be the mother of two. There are many days where I pinch myself, Zach is my son, I’m not babysitting, and he is my and my husband’s responsibility. With much joy comes much work. Jonathon and I need to teach and train this boy. What food should he eat, what is he allowed to touch, what tv can he watch, when should we expect him to understand what we are saying, are we doing the right thing? Are these questions that you consider? If I let my mind run away with me I will either end up anxious or otherwise in control mode. Thankfully, I know that the Lord has a better way. I am blessed with a husband who I am walking this parenting journey with. The responsibility is not mine alone, we talk, share and support one another with the direction we should take. We also are blessed to know the God. He lovingly gave us Zach and He is always there to guide us with raising this little boy to be the man he was created to be.

Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.
