Play and Laughter

Zach loves playing and interacting with me and his dad. In particular, he loves the way that Jona gets down to his level and chases him around the floor. He squeals with delight and is often found finishing a round by curling up under dad. The love of a father for his son; the security a son finds in the love of his father. Although I can’t imagine laughing with my heavenly Father I do know that He loves to see His joy in me. He loves watching me fill out my days and grow into the woman He’s created me to be. I know that He also finds delight as I seek refuge under His wings. Whether looking for rest or refuge in a storm I know that there is a secure place with Him.

Song of Solomon 2:4 ‘…his banner over me in love’
