Little Personality
Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 9:30PM Day by day we are see more of Zach’s personality emerge. When he’s at home surrounded by family and friends he likes to make us laugh. He chases us around with his car track saying ‘tickle, tickle’, he then plays ‘boo’ with Annabelle and wrestles her on the ground. He jumps up and down in his cot then body slams his teddy bears. Tonight it was mealtime humour; having yoghurt all over his face he experimented with ‘face’ painting the table, all the time knowing it was funny. From the stories I hear about my husband’s childhood, Zach is a lot like his dad. As a mum I’m loving getting to know him and I am humble by his love for me. There are days when I feel inadequate, there seems to be so much that I am not doing well, or as well as I would like. Just last night was one of these times and in the midst I was so thankful to be able to hear the truth from God. My children are a gift and God knew that they needed me as their mum and I need them as my children. It is no mistake. It is crucial for all of us that when doubt creeps in that we do not give substance to lies but we listen to the truth.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
