God loves family

Just over three years ago we welcomed our first child. When we first held him I remember being overwhelmed with love for our little boy and there was a longing in my heart to know him. Each day when I see his smile and hear him speak I get a small glimpse of who he is and who he will be. Seventeen months later we were blessed with a little girl. Amazingly our capacity to love was increased. Two months ago little Audrey was added to our family. The capacity to love was again increased. Our capacity to be parents to these little ones has been given to us from God. What is even more amazing is that before we welcomed any of our children, they were part of God’s plan. He planned and named them and in His wisdom He gave them to us with the hope that they would receive and respond to His love.
God loves family. He uses the uniqueness of our family to express His love towards us. God the Father has a desire for many sons. God the Son gave Himself to be sent to earth so that He could make a way for us to become sons of God. God’s capacity to love in infinite; He has a place for each of us in His family if we receive His love and obey His will. He loves us even more than we love our own children

Ephesians 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.
